Accidentally deleted the content of a page (not the whole page) in an UNPUBLISHED site.

I just lost several hours of work. I thought I was only deleting the top banner image in the Weebly template I was customizing, but ALL the content (images and carefully-worded text boxes) I had been adding to the HOME page for the last few days instantly disappeared. CTRL-Z (undo) didn't work. 

I immediately started an online chat with a tech here, and unfortunately, because my site is UNPUBLISHED, there was no way he could recover and restore my deleted content.

So, I'm gonna start copy/pasting the contents I write (as I go) in each text box to a Google doc or another form of backup. Or another way would be to write and edit in a Google doc and when it's finished, copy/paste it into the appropriate text box in the web page.

Hope this helps someone avoid the major mistake I just made.
