why would my taxable item sales be different than my taxable amount
i ran a tax report for my reporting quarter. the taxable items sales at the top of the report is lower than the taxable item sales when broken down by tax category. how is this possible?

Hey! Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Seller Community! This can happen if you have more than one tax applied to some of your items as one tax, or set of taxes, will report having higher sales since that sale is essentially being reported twice (because multiple taxes are being applied to it). If you have items that have multiple taxes applied, navigate to your Sales Summary. Under Net Sales, you’ll find the amount equals the sum of the total taxable amount and total non-taxable amount.
