truncating inventory

Hi I have a square website and the items are showing up individually with each size, instead of as variations. I think I need to manually add the variations, but I am not sure how to update the inventory stock for each variation. Each variation should have one item in stock. Is there a way to resync the stock once I add the variation?

Quite confused here! 😅

The website linked on your Seller Community profile is not a Square website. 

 

And I couldn't find a different website associated with this profile. 

Could you share the website address for the site that is giving you issues?

 

Items with variations would show online as a single item, then give the customers the option to select the variation they need, I'll attach an example below.

If each variation for the same item has an individual item page in your Square Online Store, chances are they got added as different items instead of under the same item. 

When you add variations to your items, the second column after the variation name will be your stock, it can be updated from your Item library page. 

 

As for re-syncing stock after adding the variation, I'm not sure that I understand what you mean by that. 

If your items are syncing between your Square dashboard and your Square Online overview page, any changes you make to your variations on either side will sync to the other.
