commerce sync, square and woo commerce
I am trying to use Commerce sync to sync square with my quickbooks (enterprise) desktop.
We us square for retail and for ecommerce.
There seems to be a problem wit syncing (taxes) from woo commerce.
Could it be that since woo commerce has a tax setting set to 4 decimals, and square only has a tax rate set to 2 decimals, there may be something off?
Otherwise, I have no clue.
My state tax rate is set to 8.25% in square.
My state tax rate is set to 8.2500% in woo commerce.
I can't change it to only 2 decimals in woo commerce.
However, some of my orders from woo commerce that have been reported in square are not syncing from commerce sync into quick books. They are telling me I have different tax rates set. But I do not.
Can some one please help me?
FOR EXAMPLE: Order #297579
$45 item sold.
8.25% sales tax = $3.71 (technically $3.7125)
Total Charge $48.71 (Rounded down)
Commerce sync says it's being reported as 8.24% .0824 tax would be $3.708, which rounded up is $3.71.
ANOTHER EXAMPLE: Order #297568
$39 item sold
8.25% sales tax = $3.22 (technically $3.2175)
Total Charge $42.22
Commerce since says it's being report as 8.26%. .0826 tax would be $3.2214 (rounded up to $3.22)

Hey @austinrestart -
To start, I am going to recommend reaching out to WooCommerce to see if there are issues on their end. If it's good to go on their side, then reach out to us again.
Same would go for QuickBooks. Whenever there is an issue with an integration partner that is always the first step.
Thank you! I will keep an eye out for your reply👀.
