Is there any discussion of having a chat service on Square Online website for us to communicate with our customers?
The contact form is ok, but it is not instant. It would be awesome to have the ability to send messages to an app on my phone/iPad/or even desktop computer, or maybe forwarded as a text to my number.
The title of this thread has been edited from the original: "Online Site Chat"

Hey @crystalimages
That's a really great feature request!
Hopefully one day they integrate Square Messages into Square Online.
In the meantime, you can totally integrate Facebook Messenger!
If you go into your Square Online dashboard, click on Website on the Left Toolbar, and then Messenger, you can set up that integration!

Is there anyway to add a chat integration besides Facebook messenger ? Why Facebook ? not everybody uses Facebook. Looks like everything in the forums has the same pattern 'discussion started 2 years ago', Reply 'Thats a really good feature request', 2 years later and no movement. Absolutely ridiculous. Square is in the stone ages when you compare to other service providers out there and what's on offer.
