Why am I prompted to switch to the Retail App when using the Dashboard on my phone?
The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Anyone else having issues with using the web page to upload new items to?
so usually I can just get on my mobile phone on the Internet on the Square website to add new items to my website. Today I have been trying to do that and it keeps sending me to the Retail app. I don’t like uploading my stuff to the retail app because it does not update to the website and it does not allow me to add more than one picture to my posting. I tried to chat with Square associate and have now been sitting there for 45 minutes waiting for someone to respond to me. Has anybody else experienced this or had this issue with trying to upload items to their website? if so, did you get it fixed and how can I fix it because I’m about to not use Square anymore and find a different platform to use.

When I struggle with this on the POS site, I open my item, refresh the page and then toggle the checkout link at the bottom on. This usually sends it to the website site, but sometimes it takes several days to show up.

I’m not using a laptop, I am using my iPhone web browser, usually I can click on items and add items that way but now it sends me to retail app, nothing that I added to it has been updated on my personal website.

To confirm, if you click Use desktop site instead, are you able to create your items within the Square Dashboard item library?

Yes, I am able to create them online, and, in the dashboard, but they don't copy to the other location for several days/weeks. I have figured out a work around though. I save the item in the dashboard, open the item again, hit refresh, recheck the checkout link box and save again. This seems to be working right now.
