Where is “Inventory”?

I’m using Square Point of Sale Application 6.29.1 on iOS 16. When I launch the app, there is an “Inventory” tab on the bottom. Tapping that takes me to a page that seems to want me to upgrade to Retail Plus but otherwise doesn’t seem to do anything. How can get back to the interface where I could see my inventory in a list?

As I see this is your First post welcome to the Square Forum page.

Since when you are pressing Inventory nothing is being Displayed .... Try Tapping  'More' in the bottom Right then tap 'Items' .

The Inventory button is more used for Counting, Receiving and Ordering inventory which I believe is not available on the Reular POS.

Now you could upgrade to the Square for Retail Free version, to do this you need to go through the Free Trial of Square for Retail which has more features than the Free version then you need to discountinue the Subscription fee for the Paid version.

Thanks for your response, Keith. When I log in to my account on the website, it says I am already on the Square for Retail Free plan. And in the App Store, the only choice I have seems to be "Square: Retail Point of Sale." I uninstalled and reinstalled on my iPhone and the About page still shows "Square Point of Sale Application version 6.29.1," so I don't know how to obtain something different. 

We're a very small business with only a few shows per year, so the Plus plan doesn't make sense for us. I wish we could get back to the Inventory list that was available in earlier versions of the app ... as I can see when I look at my wife's iPhone, which has the older version.

Instead of Searching for Square POS search for Square for Retail.  The Square for Retail app is used by both the Square for Retail Free and Square for Retail Paid.  This will be a Green and White Icon verses the Square POS which is a Black and White or Grey Icon for the app.
