Undo a refund, no customer info

So a refund was made for the wrong sale. Square says it’s final and we need to contact customer to redo the transaction. We have no customer information as square has it all and will not disclose to us. How is this even legal? What can we do?

I think if a customer opt’s out of any communication, Square doesn’t keep it on file.  We subscribe to Square messaging and we don’t have access to customers who opt out of communication.
