Where do I find an end of year theft report. When I go to the drop down there is no theft option there. But in the actual product area the option is there. We had theft this past year and put it as theft. but now that I try to run a report the drop down does not have that option to run the report.

Unfortunately, Square does not have a specific "Theft Report" that you can generate directly from the Reports section. However, here are steps you can take to compile the information you need:
Check Product History:
- Go to the Item Library in your Square Dashboard.
- Locate the specific items marked as “Theft” and click on them to view their Stock History. This will show the adjustments made, including those categorized as theft.
Manually Track Theft Adjustments:
- If you’ve consistently used the “Theft” option when adjusting inventory, export your inventory adjustment data as a CSV file.
- Go to Items > Inventory Management > Adjustments and download the report.
- Filter the data in a spreadsheet program (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) to find all adjustments marked as theft.
Compile Your Own Report:
- Using the exported data, you can create a custom report summarizing the theft adjustments, including the affected items, dates, and quantities.
Submit Feedback to Square:
- If theft tracking and reporting is a feature you’d like to see, submit feedback through the Square Dashboard. Square often updates its tools based on user needs, and your suggestion could lead to an enhancement in inventory management.
While there’s no direct “Theft Report” available, these steps should help you get the information you need. Let me know if you’d like more detailed instructions on any of these steps!
