Switch Purchased Item from Shipping to PickUp and Mark as "Complete"

We have several customers who purchased items on our e-commerce site and chose shipping. These items were part of a 3 -month show and they have stayed in the show since the time of purchase in May. The show is now over and several customers have decided to pick up their items rather than have them shipped.

 

1) We have already refunded the shipping costs to the customers and they are expecting to pick up their items.

2)The items are still marked  "pending" in our Orders" section.

 

We want to tag the items as "Complete" when they are picked up so we can keep track of whats gone out the door, but it looks like the only choice is "mark as shipped" which requires us to "create a shipping label", which we don't need or want to pay for.

How do we change an item earmarked for "shipping" to "pick up" so that we can mark it as completed?

Hi there @cedarcreek👋 You can start by opening the order and clicking Mark as Shipped.

 

 

You'll get a pop-up window when you click this - here you can add a note in the Tracking Number field (EX: "Pickup order" or "Customer decided to pick up order") and toggle off the option to email the sender. I hope this helps!
