Square Register Bug - Cancelling Transactions
A team member without the "cancel transaction" permission can still cancel transactions by turning off the register display (a tap on the power button below the screen).

Hi there, @Seller5008 👋 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Seller Community! Good to hear from you again.
This one is interesting, indeed. Just to make sure I am understanding correctly - if your employee, who has set permissions that do not allow the canceling of transactions, taps the power button on Square Register, can subsequently cancel out a transaction if the unit is fully restarted? Normally the unit should require that the device be signed into again once a restart is initiated. Very strange! Would you mind provided a video or photo of what you guys are seeing when restarting?
I would recommend walking through these troubleshooting steps for the Square Register. This will insure that both software and firmware are up to date, which will wash out any outstanding glitches from previous versions.
