In my state, we have both a state and local (county or city) sales tax, usually 4% state and 4% local. Some counties do not impose sales tax for items (clothing and footwear) under a certain dollar amount (usually $100, or so). So, if I make a sale of $110, I need to add 8% in sales tax. However, if the sale of clothing or footwear totals $90, I need to add only the state sales tax of 4%. My question: is there any way of changing the sales tax rate based upon the total dollar amount of the sale? Thank you in advance for your help
