Problem with Register and Point of Sale in All Sources field

I'm the volunteer treasurer of a small nonprofit group that helps support a public library in Oregon.
Our group runs a small bookstore that is located within the library. In the bookstore is a Square Register which is only used for sales transactions in the Book Store. It is listed as "Register" under the "All Sources" tab on the Square screen. Also under the "All Sources" tab is listed "Point of Sale". Under Point of Sale are listed the transactions by our mobile Square devices which we use for fundraising events that are held away from the library.
 
For the past week or so, there have been no cash transactions recorded by the Book Store's register according to the "Register" listing under the All Sources tab. There have been debit/credit card transactions from the Register during this time, however.
 
The "Point of Sale" device (which the volunteers use as the non-Book Store remote events) is recorded as being used at the Store to conduct cash transactions.
 
During this time, we have verified that the Register in the Book Store had in fact been used for the cash transactions. The Point of Sale devices were not in use. Even stranger, the Register cash transaction amounts have been credited to the Point of Sale devices.
 
I was wondering if anyone in this group might have any ideas why this might be happening and how it could be fixed. I really appreciate your help. If this question should have been posted in another group, please let me know.
 
The distinction between Register and Point of Sale transactions helps me as the Treasurer provide accurate income reports.
