Need help with organizing our assortment of inventory for easy finding using Excel Spreadsheet
I have a LOT of inventory I need to add in rather quickly. I'd rather not search everything by it's individual name, but by item type, or even Supplier/Vendor name 1st.. to make it easy on myself as well as especially, my mom when she runs the checkout.
For example
I have 3 main vendors right now.. one is for clothes, one is bags/purses.. one has wax products and more.
I'd love to be able to add it all in using excel and search by "Clothing" then organize by 'leggings, tops-adult, dresses' etc and then by other details (pattern name, size, etc)
If this makes sense, and anyone can help me, i'd be really grateful! We are just opening a small retail shop and have a LOT to put in, so one at a time would be extremely difficult.
I will be attempting to get it figured out in the meantime. Just hoping even if I get some figured out, I may learn some handy tricks or an even easier way to set it up for csv (i think thats right) upload of all items.
