My images won't load to my items

We have been uploading inventory with associated images with no problem for months. This weekend we suddenly are having trouble. The image appears to be loading (you can see the greyed-out preview as in attached screenshot), and then I get an error that the image can't load (see second screenshot). Very frustrating!! Please help?

@annapolisarts Thanks for writing in. Are the image uploads still causing trouble today? Have you tried browser troubleshooting like clearing cache, updating the browser version or switching to Google Chrome?

 

This helps me isolate the issue.

Switching to Chrome didn't work. I am having the same issue.

I am having the same issue. It does not look like this has been answered. Please update with the specification for the images or alternative ways to add images to the item. I have tried several sizes and different file types with no success.

What ways are you trying to add images?

I have used the Square for Retail app on my Ipad, and also took photos with My android cell phone, then emailed myself the image.  Downloaded the image to my computer and used the Square Dashboard to upload the images with no issues.  Have just used these methods this week.

Now on my Ipad I was not able to add an image to a Variation, which is why I used the Cell to send it to my email.  I prefer using the Square Dashboard for uploading images because of this.

I was trying to load the image by selecting it from a file list, but it always failed without a clear reason. I tried changing sizes and file types, but they were no good. Finally, I got it to load by drag-and-drop. It's not my preferred method, but it worked!
