Multiple sellers

Hi,

I am opening a retail store featuring multiple vendors/sellers. These sellers’ items will have individual tags to tell them apart, but I want to have a single register where customers can buy items from multiple sellers. Does anyone have a experience with this or a way to categorize the items at checkout? I would like to have a way to divide them at checkout so square will generate a sales report by seller. Thanks!

Hi @Squirrelsnest!

So what I would recommend that you do is utilize the categories feature from Square. You can just set the categories as each seller's/vendor's name and then create the items in your Square items list. In that list, you'll be able to select the category that the item belongs to, which in your case it would be for the seller's/vendor's items. At the end of the day, you'll be able to see how much in sales for each category was generated on that day. You can also look at your weekly and monthly reports as well to view each category's sales.
