Is there a way to consolidate a receipt and make it shorter?

LOVE using the new "Automatic Discount" feature... we discount bulk loads of product (40each of something), so we have set up the feature to discount each item once the quantity reaches 40 or more...This has been GREAT for keeping inventory straight and making the discount process easy for the cashier! 

The only problem is the receipt: it's printing a 2 foot long receipt, showing the individual discount on each item on a separate line!  

Is there any way to have the receipt 'aggregate' the total discount at the bottom for that 'same item'?

Currently the ability to adjust or consolidate the line items appearing on your receipt is a feature request.

Awww, shoot:  It's only "kinda" fixed... the initial receipt to the customer prints correctly, but a 'reprint' receipt (which we do for some transactions for our own paper records) still runs a 2-foot receipt...
