Yes, Setup Device Codes.  Then you can filter by each device in Square Reports.

The other thing to look into is naming each device.  I have my 2 Stands Named by what they do.  CC Sales, CC and Cash Sales  for example.  I named these in the Ipads or on my cell phone for the Name of the device in Settings Name.  I am not sure how you do this in the Register, but its easy to see which device did what that day.  I use to just see, Ipad, Ipad.  This was of no use to me so you may just see Register, Register and Register unless you name each one.

On your Square Dashboard after setting up device Codes.  You can Edit the names for Each Device here : https://squareup.com/dashboard/device-codes   

On the right side press the 3 dots on the Far right side and choose Rename..... type in the name you want for this device and repeat for other devices.

Thank you for all your help. Great information, One other question can we log into different device codes on the same register? We sell signs and business cards and we also sell souvenir items like Arizona shirts and gifts. We would like to keep the sales separated so we can keep track of both transactions. its ok that they go into the same bank account for now. here is a example a customer brings some Arizona items to the register we would enter a code before we scan the items to the register. When another customer comes to order business cards or signs we would log in another code before entering sale. Is this possible?

You can, but you would need two different Apps.  On my cell phone I log in with Squre POS and it has 1 device code, and I also log in with Square Beta, which has a different Device code.  But if I were on my Square Stand using Square for Retail and Square for retail then I do not believe I can.  

Can you create a Category of Sign Business and a Category of Souvenir items and then filter the reports to see the difference in income between these?  

Do you have 2 different Square accounts or just one account with Square?

I am just trying to understand why you are trying to sepperate sales on the same POS when money goes into the same account.  

My other idea is if you have 2 registers for your busy business and then one that just does your slower business?  Then again with setting the Items up in categories you would keep them sepperrated also.

                    Wood Signs

                    Metal Signs

                    Business Cards

      Souvenir Business

              Child Categories

                     Coffee Mugs

                     Magnets

Then you can filter by the Parent Category to see how that ' Business ' is doing.  The only thing is you would need to select a Reporting Category for Reporting.   To see in Square reports how much sales your sign and Souvenir businesses are doing you would need these as your Reporting Categories.  Problem is in my example you would not see How many wood signs or coffee mugs you sold.  Just that Sign Bussiness did $XXX.XX and Souvenir Business did $YYYY.YY for example instead of seeing Wood Signs sold $XXX.XX and Coffee Mugs sold $YY.YY for example.  You would still see how many Items you sold just not which category was not the reporting category.   Though before I could choose Category on the Square reports but not export them in my Transactions Downloads.  In that download was just the Reporting Category.
