How do I view inventory by item for a specific date range in the Square for Retail POS app?

Hey there, @Lilys - 

Thank you for reaching out in the Community about Square for Retail! 

As of now, there isn't a way to see your inventory by item within the Retail Point of Sale app. There is an option to go into the Item Library on your Dashboard and click on the individual item to see the stock history. That would have to be done by each item separately, so it could be a little tedious if you have a large Item Library. 

There is a report you can look at through the Projected Profit Report on your Dashboard by going to Items > Inventory Management > Reports > Projected profit. In this report, you can see within in the past 70 days. Beyond 70 days, you will still be able to see what the inventory was on the last day of the month.

Has this been resolved? This seems like a huge failing in an inventory system... I need to see a complete overview of my stock on a specific date and going item by item is not an acceptable workaround.

It seems like the Full Inventory Counts feature in Square for Retail may be the closest to what you're asking for here. I see you're located in Canada. I'm not sure if this feature is available on Square for Retail in Canada, so I'm double-checking with the Retail Team.
