I sell bundles of "gift boxes" by adding various items from my store to a box. We have "Twenty - Box 1, Thirty - Box 2 etc in stock. However, I cannot show the number of boxes available when the bundles are made i.e. how many gift boxes within one bundle type? Each bundle has the same items and my Inventory is showing that the bundle available for sale is

I am trying to understand that you created a Bundle and you call the Item Bundle Gift Box 1 and Gift Box 2? Which sell as a bundle certain items from your Catalog. And you would like to be able to list that you have a Quantity of 20 Box 1's for sale and 30 box 2's for sale. Is this correct so far?
Did you use Square Bundles to created these different Gift Sets as a Bundle in Square? If so each Bundle created in Square can have a Quantity associated with it to be able to sell. I created a Bundle, name it Gift Set 1 for example. Then leave Square create a SKU or assigned a SKU of say Giftset2 as the SKU. Then make my labels and Scan the label into the inventory tab in Square for receiving inventory.

Once you have your Gift Box 1 and Gift Box 2 set up as an item you can adjust their individual inventory counts. How to do this is here 6110-manage-inventory-with-the-retail-pos-app
Hope these help you

Creating a bundle through Square Dashboard is not effective - it doesn't allow you to set a stock.
The Retail POS (turquoise app) does not allow you to create the bundle from the item. You have to go through reports, select items and then try to create the bundle. Not all bundles can have stock - again. It changes the stock on its own after you enter it. Finally it gives an error in some instance that the items are not at the same location - we only have 1 location.

You are correct on the creation.
I had to download Square Retail to be able to see that some of the bunvles can receive stock. However, I have over 20 bundles that can't. It seems I have to delete those 20 and recreate them.

Do those bundles that you can not create a Quantity for have a SKU? Try creating an SKU for the Bundle before recreating it, then scan the newly created SKU to add quantity.

Nope, doesn't work. Each one has a different SKU and some allow me to have stock and others don't. Then I have the issue referenced below. This system is painful.

This Bundle system is trash. I downloaded the Square Retail App (the turquoise one). Created a "Bundle" Item, added the stock and saved the item. Went back 5 minutes later and the system changed the stock available to the lowest stock of one of the items i.e. Bundle Box was stocked at 30. Lowest individual item in the bundle has 61 in stock. The Bundle is now showing 61 available ---UGH.
I don't know what Square is doing, but for $89/month I should be able to create a bundle, stock it and have it exist the way I want it to for my customers...ugh!!!
