How do I transfer point of sale directly to my square card? This should be way easier than it is????

So sorry for the confusion here. Once you've activated your Square Card, funds from any transactions made through Square Point of Sale will automatically be made available on your Square Card balance - meaning that they can be used by paying with your Square Card. There is no extra action needed to insure funds are available.
