How can we make sales tax adjustments to transaction

Hi, Due to COVID-19 we quickly started selling items from our store on our website and on Amazon.  To keep up with our sales and inventory we rang Amazon orders through square and used the more payment option.  How can we adjust sales tax for those online sales?  Our tax report from square is reporting more than we need to pay.  Also any suggestions on 3rd party apps that will integrate square and Amazon?

Thanks

Hi there, @walkersbeautyre 👋 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Seller Community! Happy to have you join us here!

Transactions that have already been completed do not have the ability to be edited. This means that the time-stamp, amount, and tax settings cannot be changed once the transaction is completed. If you need to make edits, you can refund the transaction outright, and reprocess with the correct tax amounts applied. The only caveat here is that the newly completed transaction will have a current date and timestamp which can affect record keeping.

In terms of third party Amazon integrations, we do not have any formal connections to suggest. I will however leave your post up here on this thread in case any other Sellers have suggestions for workarounds through selling on Amazon. Hopefully we can generate some helpful dialogue!

Feel free to reach back out if you have any clarifying questions. We are here to help!

Hello Joe!  Thanks for your warm welcoming and prompt response.  We had to makes some pivots and things started moving fast.  I'm hoping to figure things out because I'm sure Amazon will report sales and so will square.  Right now things are adding up as double sales.

Thanks again,

Shante
