I just sold something, and need to refund and recharge the customer. The taxes didn't auto populate. What's the best way to go about the refund expediently?

To process a quick refund with Square, follow these steps:
- Go to your Square Dashboard or Square Point of Sale app.
- Locate the original sale you want to refund, then click on it.
- Select Refund, and ensure the full or partial amount is selected.
- If taxes didn't auto-populate, make sure to manually adjust them as needed before confirming the refund.
Once initiated, your customer should see the refund as a pending transaction on their bank account within 1-3 business days, though processing time varies by the card-issuing bank.
After Square processes the refund, it typically takes an additional 2-7 business days for the funds to post to the customer’s account, making the total refund process around 4–14 business days.
