Can Square Register be used not plugged into an outlet?

Just received the square register and was hoping to use it at the farmers market for social distancing purposes and the customer support person just old me it has to be plugged into an outlet I was hoping it just needed to be charged and could be used anywhere... HELP!

Square Register does need to be plugged into an outlet so that it has power to operate.  You can use a mobile power source such as something like this Battery or even This Battery that can be charged with Solar Panels.  There are lots of options out there for portable power on the go.

We use Square Terminals at our farmer's market and those are portable all in one device that have a battery and printer all in the device.
