is there a way to turn off the ticket stub printing on terminal while printing to a kitchen printer.

We just started using the square terminal for outdoor dining at our restaurant. Every time we send an order to the kitchen printer a ticket is printed from the terminal as well. I toggled the printer settings so that order printing is on and ticket stub is off but this still happens every time. we have no use for these stubs and its a big waste of paper. Is there a way to turn this off?

So the built in printer has separate configurations that live in Settings. I think it's just called Printer (different from External printers). Can you check to see if ticket stubs are turned off there too?

Yes ticket stubs are turned off for the printer (not external printer setting).

Okay, can you send a screenshot of your settings for the internal printer? It's a bit hard to determine the problem without accessing your settings.
