e-gift card for online food sales

I am operating my store primarily as an Online business, and people are purchasing e-gift cards. Why is Square set up so that our customers are unable to make online purchases for pick-up or delivery using a gift card? That seems like a HUGE oversight. Is there a fix that I am unaware of?

Your customers absolutely can use your square egift cards to order through your square online store! 

Once they hit checkout and enter in all of their contact information, down in the Payment information section there is a link/button that says “Add Gift Card”. They can click that and type in the 16 digit code from their square gift card. 

Easy peasy!
