can I use my printer from my previous POS System?
I am looking to switch to Square but have the cash drawers, receipt printers and kitchen printers from my previous POS system. Can I use my old cash drawers, receipt printers and kitchen printers and plug them into the Square terminal screens?
For my kitchen printer, I have an Epson TM-U220b and for my receipt printers I have Bixolons SRP 350 PLUSIII
Or do I have to buy Square printers and cash drawers?

Hey @Lizbeals! ✨
Welcome to Square and the Seller Community 🎉
Please take a look at this compatibility page. It should help you determine which of your hardware will be compatible with our systems. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you, Isabella, but I've already read that information, which is why I'm posting my questions here. My printers aren't listed on this page so I wanted to know from other people of they can tell me about compressibility with these models.

Okay, I can't speak for that hardware because they aren't tested by Square yet.
I'll go ahead and tag some of our Super Sellers to see if they have insight:

so here’s the problem. Technically if your printers are USB then they “ should “ work by plugging them into the square stand hub but since they aren’t listed there’s really no way to tell except by actually plugging them in and trying them. Unless of course one of us has already tried that same exact printer. I know I have had luck using barcode scanners that weren’t listed but it’s just trial and error to find out. Sorry I can’t give you more information but I haven’t tried those printer models

I tried a Bixolons SRP 350 PLUSIII about a year ago and unfortunately it didn’t work. I’m not aware of any success with Bixolons products.
I don’t have experience with the Epson printer so I can’t speak to that. However, since other Epson printers are supported by Square it’s possible that the Epson TM-U220b would work.

Thank you, @londontea for this information on Bixolons!
I'll keep digging to find out about the specific Epson printers I have.

@Lizbeals, sorry, no help from me as we’ve never used those brands. We only use Star 143 and 143III and have since day one.

Sorry, don't know about the Epson printers either...I'm using a Star TSP100III to print receipts, but its only using a standard paper roll (non sticky). Are you using a separate "kitchen" receipt or order printer or just a single receipt printer with your sticky labels? I'm not in the restaurant biz but maybe a restaurant user would have more insight into this kind of receipt configuration?
