By where it says items and orders and should say menu, mine doesn’t say menu. Why is this? I have items added to my library but they do not come up as items for sale on my website.

It sounds like you’re having trouble with your items showing up correctly on your website. Let’s go through some potential causes and solutions:
Check If Items Are Visible Online:
- In your Square Dashboard, go to Items > Item Library.
- Ensure that each item is marked as “Visible Online” to appear on your website. Sometimes, items are added to the library but aren’t automatically set to display online.
Check Your Item Types:
- Make sure the items you’ve added are categorized as “Goods” or “Physical Items.” If they’re marked as services or another type, they won’t show up as items for sale on your website.
- You can edit item types from the Item Library by selecting an item and checking its details.
Sync Your Online Store:
- If you made recent changes to your items (like adding new items), go to Online in your Square Dashboard and make sure your changes have synced with your website. You may need to republish the site for the updates to take effect.
Check Your Website Settings:
- Go to Online > Website Settings and review the settings for your online store. Sometimes the layout or category settings might need to be adjusted to ensure items show up under the correct section.
Item Availability:
- Make sure your items are in stock if you’re tracking inventory. Items with zero stock might not appear on the website depending on your settings.
"Menu" vs "Items":
- If your website is set to show items under a "Menu" section, you may need to adjust your settings to make sure the items are displayed properly under the correct category. This could involve checking how your website is set up for eCommerce or adjusting the item categories in your dashboard.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you might want to reach out to Square Support for more in-depth troubleshooting, especially if the "Menu" option isn’t appearing where it should.
