Square KDS settings bug

I have a new Samsung Galax Tab A8 newly setup with a fresh copy of Square KDS from the Google Play Store and logged in with a Device Code.  The "Items & Categories" and "Source & Fulfillment" screens both show mostly blank, like the attached picture - only showing "Select All" "Deselect All" and two non-functioning sliders.  Any ideas what would cause this?

I'm not certain about the cause of this issue, but I'll tag some Super Sellers below who might have more insight.

Have you experienced this problem on other devices or when using different device codes, or is it specific to the expo device code?

This is definitely a bug that the dev team should be looking into.  This is suppose to be the recommended "stock" tablet for Square KDS and support for KDS on iPads is EOL next month, I believe.

I figured out the cause of the bug on this.  The settings portion of the KDS is not dark mode friendly.  If you are using dark mode on Android, many of the settings will show up as blank, because they're black text and don't compensate for it being dark mode. @RobynR can you flag this as a bug with the KDS android dev team?
