Restricting employee access to a certain device
We have two iPads. One for servers to create open tickets for the kitchen, and one for our register. Is there a way to restrict servers access to the register iPad through the square app so they can’t check customers out? I know I can change the passcode to the iPad and keep it locked but seeing if there is another way. Thanks.

@Foodies718 Hmm, currently employee roles are determined by location not by device. Is it causing a lot of trouble when servers use the wrong iPad as a checkout?
For now, having a different passcode for one iPad sounds like a great workaround!

We’re having issues with the register coming up short or long. I’ve restricted servers to where they can only ring up the tickets they created. It’s just a pain having to lock and unlock the register every time we use it. 😤

Understood. We'll let you know if there's a way to restrict employees by device in future. Thank you for your posts!
