Need a creative solution for restaurant pre-orders
We have a unique sales model in that we have a subset of entree offerings each day, available for pre-order. No two days are the same, and the hours differ each week, so it's hard to set standards. Customers need to pre-order for pickup or delivery so that we can plan for that day.
What's the best way to handle this with square? We started to use modifiers to let the consumer select a pickup time, but the square confirmation email with default pick-up times confuses the customer. If we switch to shipping as the delivery method, tipping becomes tricky.
Anyone else solve for a situation similar to this already?
