Is there a specific type of printer that can print labels and/or stickers?

[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Is there a drink printer that will print the order off on stickers like at Starbucks.]

Is there a drink printer that will print the order off on stickers like at Starbucks.  I want to be able to print off a receipt, or drink order, that I can take and then stick it to the cup and have the barista make the order from what is printed off on the sticker attached to the cup.

I don't know how Starbucks works (I know crazy but I've never once been in one) but I have seen shake and smoothie places simply use the regular ticket and get it wet so it sticks to the cup.

here is a video of what I am talking about, it should be linked to where he prints the ticket and sticks it in water.  https://youtu.be/hznOnT-m9no?t=261

Thank you, do you know if in the square app you can set the print area, because an adhesive thermal print roll the stickers are spaced evenly and the end point is not abratrary.

I totally agree with this.  I was in the coffee business for many years before catering.  If you are using paper cups, the thermal paper will stick when just barely damp.  Try experimenting with having the ticket placed above your steam wand and see if that provides enough moisture.

switch to clover and they have that function for you, This function is actually very technically challenging and currently Square still working on how to figure it out.
