Ok, here's the problem. I found a similar post back from 2019 but the thread didn't go anywhere so I figured I would try getting an answer this way since Square Customer Service didn't seem to understand what I was trying to say. When a customer is ready for their check, we print out an itemized copy of their bill and present it to them. When the customer pays, the system will print out two authorization slips, one for us and one for them, but then it prints out ANOTHER itemized receipt of their check. I understand that this one shows that a payment was received as the first one only shows what they owe. However, it's not necessary as the authorization slip is what really matters.
My question is this. Is there any way to STOP that second itemized receipt from printing? It's just a waste of thermal paper and gets thrown out every time.

I am thinking it might be a setting. I have my Recipt printer set to ask me if a receipt is needed. Plus your printing 3 different things are they through the same printer or do you have 4 printers? So my Itemized receipt is not printing unless I tell the POS to print out a Receipt. Your also printing out the 2 authorization slips, are those automatic or are you requesting then to be printed? There is a setting in your Printers Profile. Here is more information on Printer Profiles : 8245-set-up-printer-profiles
You can choose Automatic or Manual for when it gets printed and if you have Automatic you will have then print when the system deems it is needed, Manually you will need to Tap Print or No Receipt.
