Employee Login on Dashboard

The title of this thread has been altered from the original.

I need to give my email and password to open up square on the ipads to my employees because it sometimes stops running and has to be rebooted when I am not onsite. It appears that with that information, anytime they log on to square from a home computer they have access to all the information that I do. Setting up team permissions does not make any difference. What am I missing? Help!

So sorry for the trouble and confusion here regarding Login Security and your employee permission sets from the Online Dashboard. You should definitely be able to set custom permissions for your employee logins in order for them to not be able to access sensitive information. This is available for the Point of Sale app, as well as the Online Dashboard. Would you mind sharing specifically how you've set up your Team Permissions.

 

Here is a helpful guide for setting up custom permissions for your employees - it should walk you through the process of creating and managing permissions.
