Square KDS - AMA
I LOVE the Square KDS and use it in my pizza van banishing all paper tickets forever!
My workflow uses one or two screens depending on the season (two in the busy season) and also relies on customers ordering via the QR codes to enable them to get an SMS alert when their order is ready to go.
So of those who don't know if the KDS would work for them or if I can do something they want here's a thread to just ask a seller using them (and there's a group of other SuperSellers who I always ask for help if you stump me!).

Is it possible to edit / add notes to an order.
EG. What's the flow if a customer orders a cup of coffee, then decides they want oat milk instead of normal milk.
Is there any way of editing that order ticket on the KDS??

Hey @TGPH - the KDS updates with changes that are made within the Square system, but as you can’t make a retrospective note within Square there’s no way to push that to the KDS. Would be really good if you could!
The only way I can think of would be to cancel the sale and resend/redo it but that seems like more hassle than passing about bits of paper!
As far as I know even when using open tabs it’ll send and new items as a new ticket as well.
