We are excited to announce Square Loyalty, an integrated digital rewards programme that you can run directly from Square Point of Sale—without any additional software, hardware, or punch cards. Now you can thank your customers and keep them coming back with an easy rewards programme that’s simple to use.
Here’s how it works
Your customers earn points for qualifying purchases from your Square Point of Sale or from your Square Online site. Customers enroll at checkout by entering their mobile phone number. Your customers will be notified via text message when they sign up and each time they reach a new reward tier. When a customer earns a reward, it’s easy for you to apply the reward to a sale. Just select Redeem Rewards from your library and look up your customer’s phone number or name.
You can customise your loyalty programme to reflect your own brand, business operations, and customer interactions. You can tailor everything from the points terminology, programme branding, reward items and tiers, and earning method. For example, a cafe can run a traditional loyalty programme where customers receive points for each visit, or a boutique can offer multiple reward levels, letting customers bank their points to earn higher-value rewards in higher tiers.
You can also track your Loyalty programme right from your Square Dashboard. You’ll be able to see your total enrolled customers, rewards, and top customers. You can even compare average spend and visits from Loyalty versus non-Loyalty customers to make sure you’re getting the most out of your Loyalty programme.

Getting started
Visit your online Square Dashboard to create your Loyalty programme and start your free 30-day trial. Select Loyalty in the left column of your Dashboard and follow the set-up instructions to get started.
Pricing for Square Loyalty starts at £25 per month, based on each location’s total Loyalty visits per month.
