[Improvement] Introducing Scheduling Gantt view

Sellers who are using scheduling functionality can now interact with your rota in a new way through day-view filters.  Ensure proper coverage and visualise the days ahead!

One gap for creating rotas has been the inability to visualise scheduled shifts on an hour-by-hour level to assess coverage. Until now, each shift was represented as an identical block on the rota rather than across a timescale, making it hard for sellers to spot gaps in staffing. Now, sellers can easily assess coverage and make seamless adjustments to their rota to increase or decrease staffing each day.

We believe this work will benefit sellers by making them more efficient when scheduling staff and also provide benefits to their employees by minimising the pain of rota adjustments that may have been missed. 

To access this new functionality, go to your Square Dashboard and select Staff & payroll > Shifts > Scheduling > Rota and where it says ‘Week’, you can drop down to ‘Day’ to see the hour-by-hour view. To learn more about setting up rotas, go to this help article.
