Sticl on Powered by Square
My Square Terminial is stuck on "Powered by Square". I reset and not change. I waited 24 hrs and no change.

I solved my problem and because others having this issue in the past do not appear to have shared the answer, I will. A simple FACTORY reset solved the issue in five minutes! It took 35 minutes to get to the right person, after searching FAQ's and the "community".
It appears to be important that no other hardware is connected to the terminal when doing a FACTORY reset.
To do the FACTORY reset, I simply held the power button for many, many seconds, until I saw words telling me to let go. Ignore everything else. Just hold the button until told to let go. Then, you will be asked for your user/password for the square terminal. And, then the same for your network. Then.......you go through a series of questions (i.e., language, time zone, etc.). It did NOT affect my transaction history, or any inventory, or anything else.
