How can I collect customers' email addresses on Square Terminal?
How can I collect customers' email addresses on Square Terminal?
I frequently do pop-up shops and use my iPhone to ring up purchases, which are sent to my Square Terminal for credit card payments. I'd like to collect customers' email addresses directly on the Square Terminal, ideally after processing payments and receipts. Is there a way to do this?
Please note that I’ve tried the Email Marketing add-on, but it only appears on my phone after the receipt page. I prefer not to pass my phone to customers for them to fill out their information.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.
You can enable your customer to opt-in to your marketing campaigns after a purchase at your POS. These campaigns can be used to promote coupons, products, services, or to grow your subscriber base for future campaigns.
To get started:

Sign in to your Square POS app, tap More > Add-ons.

Tap Email Marketing, then toggle on Show Email Marketing sign-up screen during checkout.

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, that doesn’t work as I mentioned in my question. Do you know how to show the signup page on my Square Terminal instead of on my phone? Thank you again 🙂

If you log in to your Square account on a computer Dashboard > Marketing & Loyalty > Then Customer Directory > Settings > Email Collection. Here is a Link that can get you there : https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/customers/settings/email-collection
On that page is instructions for a Point of Sale, Hosted page sign up, and an embeded signup.
If you copy the URL for the hosted page, and create a QR code at a free site like https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/ , you code print this out and leave it on your counter and inform customers to use their phone to go to the link and sign up. By doing it with a QR link you could print the QR code on business cards so people can sign up whenever they like, or have one right at your payment counter and let people know they can go there to sign up on their phone.

After reading through more options in Squares Email collection I found that Square has a QR link for Email collection by tapping Edit in the Hosted Email colection area.
Here is a Link about this:

If you click This link it should take you to your Signage page for Email collection :
https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/customers/marketing/contact-collection
When I clicked Edit Signage button I was able to download my Signage with a QR code to display.
Put yours by your POS device and customers can scan the QR code with their phone to signup.
