I am setting up payroll for the first time with Square. I like the idea of using the Paid Time Off accrual feature but am having trouble seeing how it will work for my needs. I have a lot of part time employees and seasonal employees. For year round employees, I would like them to be able to accrue one paid day off per year (for a full time employee). However, when I calculate that accrual rate, it comes out to .004 hours PTO per hour worked. Please correct my math if I am wrong. Square's set up doesn't allow more than 2 digits for the accrual rate. Suggestions?
