Is it possible to allow staff to request time off a few hours prior to their shift?
Hello,
When a scheduled employee requests time off on the same day they are scheduled to work, the system will not allow it because the schedule exists (see attached image, from an administrator running the test). A work around is for the manager to go in and remove the employee from the schedule for the day, republish the schedule and then the staff member can enter the time off request. It feels like too many steps, though. Is it possible to allow the request, then allow the manager to approve/deny, and if it is approved, then automatically remove the person from the schedule?
Also, when a person is removed from the schedule described above, the person will still show on the booking calendar. Is there a way to fix this so the staff member appears "greyed out" so customers can no longer book with the removed staff member?

I just want to add that my purpose for requesting this is to better track sick time. Right now, I have to keep the sick time record outside of square and then enter the sick time back into square when I do payroll. it would be nice to run the "time off" report to show all time off, including last minutes call outs to have all time off records live in one place.
