Hey @MWagner.  To clarify, are you trying to find a report that shows the total amount each day that is transferred from your Balance to your Savings account?  If so, there is only one place to see this, currently.

From your online dashboard, go to the Balance Page and select a location.  Scroll down to the “Balance overview” section and pick a date.  Then if you expand the “Payment processing” line you’ll see a line item for Square Savings Transfers.  You can move back and forth between days here to see the amounts transferred by day.

Unfortunately, there is no report that you can select a date range and see a list of transfers.  Also, the savings account statement is the most useless waste of time I’ve ever seen, since it lists deposits at the transaction level, with no option to see a daily summary.

I, and others, have begged the Square banking team to give us better reports, and better statements, especially daily transfer reports like you are looking for.  But so far I’ve heard nothing so I assume that nothing is being done to rectify this rather weird oversight.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help here.

Chip

Thank you Chip! The info you gave was great, still took a minute but I got there. Thank you for the guidance. Yes, a better way to access savings reports would be extremely helpful.

@MWagner I pushing for it, trust me.  I use a third-party app called Bookkeep to do my daily revenue accounting.  Currently it has a couple of limitations that are solely caused by Square’s lack of visibility into Savings transfers and daily deposits.  If it weren’t for these my daily revenue accounting would be 100% automated, rather than 90% automated.  I know, I know.  It sounds like it’s not a big deal, but why only do a partial job when it should be so easy to do a complete, beautiful job?  Ha.

Anyway, I’m glad I could help.

Chip
