B Notice - I've tried updating my info but it's not saving, now I have a withholding on my account.
I received my first B Notice saying my information didn't match what the IRS had on file, but it was linked to my savings account, not even my main information. I use my savings account for personal savings. After calling support, they explained to me that it will still be linked to my business account and can't be separated out individually. But even before that, I have tried updating my information three different times before the deadline given, but the information isn't saving. I hit "confirm" after updating my information and the box closes and all the old information stays the same. I have an email now saying Square will be withholding 24% of all my savings. I thought maybe the issue was fixed and just not showing on my screen, but now I know something is up. I've tried updating again several times this morning with the same result, but this time specifically when updating it, it says "We're sorry, something went wrong."I just want my info updated so I don't have my account deactivated or my savings withheld. Those are essential for my business to keep running and I'm not sure what else to do to fix this. Part of me thinks it won't work now because it's after the deadline, but then I also think that can't be right because anyone that didn't update their information in time would have no way to resolve the issue at all. Has anyone had any experience with this?
The first two emails gave me a link to go update my info, which I used both times. The most recent email saying withholdings have begun just gives me a link to contact support for help. I did call, but they didn't know how to help me so they escalated the issue. I'm supposed to be hearing back in 24-48 hours, but I wondered if anyone else was dealing with this or has dealt with this in the past that might have some answers.
