Pressing items stops working on Square Register and then you must log out.

Hi everyone,

 

Starting about two weeks ago, once a day (and now a few times a day) my Square register started acting up. When you press an item tile, it will turn grey, like you are pressing it down, but nothing happens after that. It is not added to the check. Choosing any item tile has the same effect. The only way to get the register working again is to click the "Log out" button on the bottom left and then logging back in or by holding down the power button and restarting the register. The register worked fine on install for about two months, but now is increasing, as I mentioned.

 

Any ideas on what this could be? Restarting the POS just fixes the problem for the session and eventually the problem will reoccur. It happens on all employees.
