New Retail Update

Why is is that Square does an update for something no one asks for, yet blatantly ignores requests that thousands of people have been requesting for almost a decade??

 

Retail was supposed to have an option for delivery coming out this quarter. Is that here yet? Nope. But guess what? They changed the checkout screen in such a way we have extra steps now in each transaction. 

 

HORRIBLE system. HORRIBLE customer service. They tell flat out lies about saving on rates, and features in order to get you to commit, and then you come to find out the rates are higher, the features you need are not available (I'm talking SIMPLE features), the customer service is awful or nonexistent. WORST business decision we have ever made.

Hey @ihatethispospos,.  It sounds like you just wanted to vent, so mission accomplished! I’m not going to attempt to dissuade you, or try to convince you that you are wrong.  And since I realize that your first question was purely rhetorical, there’s nothing to answer here, really.

 

Obviously you are not happy with Square.  So I’m glad to hear that you realize that and you’ve decided to move on.  I wish you the very best.  But I will assure you that you’ll always have some big gripe with every POS vendor you find, at some point.  I can tell you that my experience with Square has been the exact opposite of yours.  Like any relationship in life, when you are not getting what you need it is always good to look for what you need elsewhere.
