Moving a square register for a special event

I have been asked about moving to a different location two square registers for a special event. Would anyone have any thoughts on the pros and cons of doing this? Other than the hassle of actually moving them?

I do have two Square terminals, but attendance will require more than two terminals.

I don't have registers on my setup, but I do move Square Stands around all the time for my farmers market popups.

For outdoor settings, the biggest thing I've noticed is a heat issue. On super hot days, my stands have a tendency to overheat. I don't know if that's the tablet or the stand causing the problem, but the stand is hot to the touch around the tap side of the device. If you keep your registers in the shade that should help, but I'd always be on the lookout for overheating.

Other than that, do remember that your Registers do not have built in cell capability. You'll need to have a hotspot of some sorts ready to go for them. I also recommend making sure the software is completely updated before moving them off your network. This goes for the Terminals as well: trying to download updates over a cell connection usually leads to angry cell providers and data overages.
