Error setting tips

Out of the dozens of transactions processed yesterday, I got an error message on two transactions. Error reads "Failed to set tips on payments. Try a lower amount."

The tips are only $1.50 and $0.80. Why won't it accept these tips?

Unfortunately, we can't pinpoint what happened to these transactions without looking at your account and reports with you, which we aren't able to do via the Seller Community. For this type of issue, I suggest that you get in touch with our Support Team so they can take a closer look.

Did you ever get an answer or solution to this problem? This just started happening to us as well and was told by square when I called that they didn’t see anything wrong and there was nothing they could do.
