Why is my MassageBook integration showing the error: "unable to sync transaction, try again later"?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: massage book - square error message- unable to sync tranaction, try again later

Gotten this message with the massage book integration a few times, tried massage book, they say its square. 

you can try hitting the "retry" button, but if you back out, it erases the transaction. HOWEVER. if you try running it again, you end up with multiple transactions.. BUT if you check transactions BEFORE you try running it again, its not there.. sigh.. I don't get it

In the meantime, you can try these general troubleshooting steps to try to resolve the issue:

Disconnect/Reconnect the Integration from the Square Dashboard

  1. Visit your online Square Dashboard and go to Settings > App Integrations.
  2. Select the MassageBook app.
  3. Click Disconnect App and confirm you want to revoke the app's access to your Square account.
  4. Reconnect the app from the App Integrations page, or visit the Square App Marketplace to search for the app or browse by category.
  5. Click Get Started.
  6. Follow the prompts to connect and sync the app with your Square account.

Web Browser Troubleshooting

  • Clear your cache and cookies.
  • Try using a different web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox).
  • Ensure your device's software is up to date.

App Troubleshooting

  • Make sure the app is updated to the latest version.
  • Delete the app, and reinstall it from the app store.
