There are a couple of things that could be causing this:
-The most likely culprit is somehow the Terminal thinks it needs to be in Connected Mode, where it's linked to another Square device. Try swiping from the left to the right, choose settings, then sign out of the device. Use an email/password or a 12 digit device code to log back in. That should put your terminal back into the regular mode.
-It may have hung up during an update. This happened on one of my terminals last month. Press and hold the power button until it restarts.
Hopefully it's one of these! If not, please let us know so we can continue troubleshooting.

Hello, thanks for responding.
Unfortunately, the screen does not respond at all to touch.
It’s a black screen with the white square logo in the middle middle of it.
I have tried restarting, letting the battery completely die down and then charging up again. None of these things have helped.
I bought It from Amazon.
I’m wondering how else to get support?
I have a big show on Friday for the weekend. I’m debating whether I should buy a new one? But $200. It’s not what I wanna be spending right now.
