Require permission to edit favorites grid?
Is there some way to control which users can edit the favorites grid on the Point of Sale checkout screen? Some of my employees keep making changes and it impacts every user at every register. They have all been told to not change anything but it keeps happening and I can't even find out which user is doing it. Is there some way to restrict access to editing this feature to only management permission sets?

Hey @ArtsCenter. If the Items permission is toggled on for the employees, they will have the ability to change ANY portion of the POS grids, not just Favorites. Permissions don’t get quite that granular. So, if you want to, you can toggle off items permission and that will do the trick. Then any time an employee tries to edit the POS grid at all, it will pop up a dialog box asking for a manager or owner code to proceed.

This is not the case. My 'cashier' permission set has never had item management access. That permission category is turned off. I just tested by logging into multiple user accounts with the cashier permission set and was still able to edit the favorites from all accounts.

Weird. Because when I do the same thing I just outlined with my front-line employee permission sets, it works as I said. I’m going to tag a moderator here. Maybe then can look into this. It’s strange that it works for me. @MayaP
